Monica WL Monroe For Precinct Delegate
Meet Monica WL Monroe
Born and raised in Detroit, I have my fingers on the pulse of this city. I know the heartbeat of the neighborhoods. And I see the love that our people have for this great community. I was elected as Precinct Delegate in 2008 and again in 2010, serving the people for 4 years from an east side neighborhood in Detroit. I am more than happy to serve the people of the Historic Russell Woods-Sullivan neighborhood as your Precinct Delegate. And I am honored to represent you in all county and party conventions, being your liaison between the democratic party and our neighborhood.
I am excited about being your community advocate, bridging the gap between people and public officials. I'm committed to making your democratic voice heard in this city, in the state, and at the federal level, in congress. I received my bachelor of science degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, and I have served my community as a registered dental hygienist for over 30 years, and I am the owner and operator of two businesses, N'Joi Life Creations LLC and Goldens Glitterbox LLC. I enjoy biking, running, hot yoga, gardening, baking, crafting, and painting. I have been a member of the Historic East Lake Church for over 25 years. I am the mother of one daughter and the grandmother of six grandchildren. One of my favorite quotes: "Little things make big things happen"
